VisMederi continues to strengthen its engagement in metapneumovirus control and vaccine research, confirming its active role in the international scientific community.
At the 10th ESWI Influenza Conference, held in Valencia from 20 to 23 October 2025, Maria Giovanna Marotta presented the latest achievements of VisMederi’s research team with a talk entitled:
“Validation of a high-throughput ELISA-based Microneutralization Assay for Human Metapneumovirus A1, A2, B1 and B2 subtypes.”
The study focuses on the development and validation of advanced analytical tools designed to support the evaluation of vaccines targeting respiratory viruses, including metapneumoviruses.
This contribution reflects VisMederi’s ongoing commitment to scientific innovation, assay standardization, and global collaboration aimed at improving vaccine development and public health preparedness.
